SAN Nighttime Runway Closure. The SAN airport is currently in the process of completing several infrastructure improvements on the airfield. This work is dependent upon weather, but generally requires that Runway 9-27 be closed; Tuesday through Saturday mornings from Midnight to 5:00 AM, until Friday, May 31st, 2019.
